Monday, May 17 - Queerabilities - Remote Meeting - Community Care, 3 pm, presented by Queerabilities Victoria ~ Online

We are so excited to be offering the Queerabilities group, as a collaboration between the Victoria Disability Resource Center (Rowan) and AVI Health and Community Services (Marshall).
Until we are able to meet again in person, our weekly topic will be Community Care (a space of support, so socialize, share resources, and discuss our challenges and successes in navigating these difficult times).

Tuesday, May 18 - #1Million Campaign - Men's Mental Health: How You Can Find Support, 12:30 pm, presented by Rebellious UnicornsUnicorns.LIVEthehub.lgbt, and You Are Collective ~ Online

Going out with a bang, episode seven of the #1Million Campaign is the last of this phenomenal first season, and is one you don’t want to miss! We are boldly shining light on the importance of providing services to support men's mental health. Jeff Goreski will be discussing the values of group sessions vs individualized care, and the variety of resources available for men. Additionally, Jeff will go into detail on how to navigate the initial steps for males seeking mental health support, and how we as a community can progress mental health services to the next level!

Tuesday, May 18 - The Q+ Crew, 6 pm - 7:30 pm, presented by The Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria 

Mental health, culture, sexuality, and gender in a new country can feel like a lot to handle. At the Q+ Crew, we are stronger together.

Join our support group to meet new people and get the support you need with LGBTQ2S volunteers and immigrant, refuge and BIPOC youth (18-30 years old).

Umbrella is pleased to offer a new recovery support group for individuals that are part of the LGBTQ2S+ community.

We know that addiction affects people who identify as LGBTQ2S+ at a higher rate, and Umbrella understands the importance of a safe space to offer support and connection. Starting December 8, our facilitators Braelynne and Theo bring their knowledge, passion and lived experience to this weekly group.

* Due to COVID, we have a limit of 6 participants in person.
To secure a spot, you MUST register the day of the group, before 1pm and agree to Umbrella COVID protocols. All others will be invited to join the group by ZOOM, details below.

Kelowna Burlesque is excited to bring you a Quickie with Lethal Leesa and Tintina Tundra. Spend half an hour getting down and dirty with these local babes from the comfort of your own home!
 
Kelowna Burlesque is a group that heavily features performers from the Okanagan but also continually welcomes out of town friends to get sparkly and fabulous with them. They mostly do classic style burlesque with sparkling costumes, sultry numbers and of course the tassles and assles!
 
About Lethal Leesa: Lethal Leesa is a First Nations performer that hails from Kelowna BC. She started performing 8 years ago and has taken a break to focus on producing but the stage calls and she is coming back to shake and shimmy what her mama gave her!
 
About Tintina Tundra: Tintina Tundra is the mistress of cheeky and freaky! She has been performing for 4 years, tearing up stages all over BC and as far north as the Yukon. She is a founding member of Tits N Anarchy Burlesque troupe and a regular performer with both Kamloops and Kelowna Burlesque.
