Monday, March 22 - Queerabilities - Remote Meeting - Community Care, 3 pm, presented by Queerabilities Victoria ~ Online

We are so excited to be offering the Queerabilities group, as a collaboration between the Victoria Disability Resource Center (Rowan) and AVI Health and Community Services (Marshall).
Until we are able to meet again in person, our weekly topic will be Community Care (a space of support, so socialize, share resources, and discuss our challenges and successes in navigating these difficult times).

Mental health, culture, sexuality, and gender in a new country can feel like a lot to handle. At the Q+ Crew, we are stronger together.

Join our support group to meet new people and get the support you need with LGBTQ2S volunteers and immigrant, refuge and BIPOC youth (18-30 years old).

Menscapes is a mini-conference on health and wellness topics for gay, bi, queer men (cis, trans, and two spirit) and those whose lives are intertwined with ours. We at AVI recognize that gender is not a binary and that many folks who are not male-identified live, love, screw, and support in queer men’s circles – you are welcome here.

Saturday, March 27 - Queer Crafternoon - Cross-Stitch, 1:30, presented by Queer Crafternoon ~ Online

Queer Crafternoon is a free monthly drop-in art space for queer, trans, and two-spirit folks of all ages along with their friends and family to craft, create, and connect!
This month we will be cross stitching! And, as always, you're welcome to join and do whatever craft you'd like, or just come and hang out.
Craft kits will include cross stitch fabric, an embroidery hoop, 10 colours of embroidery floss, 2 needles, graph paper for planning your pattern, and a few different printouts of letter styles you can cross stitch! At the event, we will be able to give some guidance on how to cross stitch.
