Queerabilities - Remote Meeting - Community Care

Victoria CRD BC

Tuesday, October 26 2021 from 12:00 AM to 02:00 AM

We are so excited to be offering the Queerabilities group, as a collaboration between the Victoria Disability Resource Center (Rowan) and AVI Health and Community Services (Marshall).

Until we are able to meet again in person, our weekly topic will be Community Care (a space of support, so socialize, share resources, and discuss our challenges and successes in navigating these difficult times).

Please note that this will be a remote meeting through Zoom. The link for the meeting will be posted on this event page. With this COVID-19 situation, we have decided to move the Queerabilities meetings online for the foreseeable future so that folks can practice social distancing while also having a means to connect with others during these uncertain times. It is important to maintain connections to peers and community at times like this. This will be a very informal drop-in meeting, loosely talking about community care, but generally just talking about how we are doing, what are needs are for support, and how we are getting our needs met. Lets come together to support each other in the ways that we can.

Details:
Mondays from 3:00 - 5:00 pm - Remote meeting through Zoom - we will post the link and instructions on the event page.
