Salmon Arm Pride - Here Comes the Pride!

Salmon Arm Arts Centre is thrilled to announce a special event for 2SLGBTQ+ couples as part of this year’s 2nd annual Salmon Arm Pride Project Arts & Awareness Festival: Pride weddings! On October 24th, the Salmon Arm Art Gallery will be transformed into a Vegas-style wedding chapel for five pairs of lucky lovebirds. Couples can select from weddings, commitment ceremonies, and vow renewals for an intimate gathering of up to 12 guests. Flowers, photography, sparkling toasts, hair and makeup, wedding favours, and even a drag queen flower girl are all available for an inclusive ceremony price of $500 – an amazing deal made possible by the local businesses that support this year’s Festival.

Delegates from around the world flew in to attend, and though they represented different countries, they shared a commonality: not one of them was afflicted with AIDS.
